DogTools car seat belt

The DogTools car seat belt has been specially developed to safely transport your dog on the passenger seat of the car.

The seat belt has a buckle (also called a receiver) that fits almost all* seat belt closures. On the other end of the belt is a hook that can be attached to the back of the harness.

By attaching the harness to the seat belt, you prevent the dog from having too much room to move while driving and possibly unexpectedly ending up on the driver's seat. In addition, the seat belt ensures that the dog is not launched during a hard stop.

The seat belt is adjustable in length to create the ideal freedom of movement for your dog. The shortest position is 46 centimetres and can be adjusted to 80 centimetres.

Made from the same quality materials as all other Dogtools products and also handmade in Portugal. The Nylon fabric is easy to clean, dries quickly and the metal parts are made of stainless steel. The seat belt is available in 19 different colors!

* NB:

- The DogTools car seat belt is not suitable for Volvo cars;

- We strongly advise against attaching the seat belt hook to a collar or the front of a harness! In the event of an abrupt stop, attaching it to the collar can cause serious neck damage. And when the belt is attached to the front of a harness, the dog's body can twist and possibly cause injury. Therefore, ALWAYS attach the seat belt to the back (i.e. on the back) of the harness;

- In some countries it is a legal requirement to secure the dog in the car;

- Some dogs, especially puppies/young dogs, may chew on the seat belt, which can cause bite damage. No warranty is given for bite damage;

- The photos serve as a color indication, the colors may differ from reality.
